MADRID, 30th April, 2026 (WAM) -- Spanish team Atletico Madrid and English team Arsenal ended their match in a 1-1 draw tonight, during the game held at the Metropolitano Stadium in the Spanish capital, Madrid, as part of the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

Arsenal opened the scoring through Viktor Gykeres in the 44th minute from a penalty kick, while Julian Alvarez equalised for Atletico Madrid in the 56th minute, also from a penalty kick.
